The compact, low-profile design allows you to deter skaters without adversely affecting the appearance or functionality of the treated surface.  Aluminum pieces are made from construction grade, non-rusting aluminum and provide superior durability and longevity.  The architectural series (AS) enhances the look of your property--for those applications in which design is as important as function.    

SKATESTOPPERS®  are sold in kits.  Selecting the proper kit is easy--measure the total linear footage of the edges to be treated and refer to the prices listed for the product.  If the standard kit does not fit your needs, ask about volume ordering.   Products may be installed by you or by our professional installation staff (in Southern California only). 

Contact Us for a template with exact design dimensions of the various products.  This template is useful in determining the proper product to fit the shape of the edge to which the product is to be applied.

 

Architectural series - AS:    These beautiful, handcrafted skate deterrents add an artistic flare to any application.  Parts can be used alone, or they can be interspersed as accent pieces with the corresponding shape from the FA/FR series skate deterrents.

Fixed Angle Pieces
Fixed Angle - FA135:  This part is made specifically for chamfered (beveled) edges, where the chamfer is 1” or more.  
Part measures 2" wide X 4 3/8" long (outside measurements).  
Available in clear anodize (silver/gray) aluminum, black powder coat, beige powder coat, and white powder coat.  Custom colors available for kits of 250 pieces or more.

Fixed Angle - FA90A:  This patented part is designed for 90 degree walls with 1/8" radius edge and is most commonly used on granite, marble, stone, block, brick, or other surfaces with a hard corner and no vertical clearance restrictions.
Outside dimensions:  4.0" (top) x 2.375" (face) x 2.0" (wide).

Fixed Angle - FA902.5:  This patented part is designed for 90 degree walls with 1/2" radius edge.  Model FA902.5  is most commonly used on poured concrete.

Fixed Radius Pieces
Radius - FR0.12: Designed for walls with 1/8" radius edge (may be used in place of model FA90).  FR0.12 is most commonly used on granite, marble, stone, block, brick, or other surfaces with a hard corner.  May also be used on wood and plastic boards (not exceeding 2" thick) or aluminum seating.
Outside dimensions: 4.875" (top) x 1.0" (face) x 2.0" wide.

Radius - FR0.5:  This part is designed for walls with 1/2" radius edge that do not form a 90 degree angle (may also be used in place of model FA902.5).  Appropriate for most pre-cast benches with 1/2" radius when specifying SMART PINS.

Radius - FR1.0:  This part is designed to fit 1" radius edges; commonly used on poured concrete with a 1" radius concrete and 2" bull nose brick.

Bench Clips
Bench Clip - FR0.25PC:  This part is designed to fit plastic coated/expanded metal benches with a 1/4" radius edge.  May also be used on some models of fiberglass benches.  NOT RECOMMENDED FOR WOOD OR PLASTIC BENCHES.
Outside dimensions:  1.187" (top) x 2.125" (face) x 1.5" (wide).

Bench Clip - FR0.12BC:  This part is designed specifically for fiberglass, aluminum, plastic lumber or wood benches (slats must be at least 2" x 6" nominal).   This part is not to be used on concrete, stone, tile, brick or other hardscape substrates (use FR0.12).

Curve Clip
Curve Clip - FA90CC:  This part is designed specifically for curb applications or for walls with a 1/2" radius edge (not for use on precast concrete).
Outside dimensions:  4.0" (top) x 1.0" (face) x 2.0" wide.  Mounting hardware:  adhesive and spiral drive.

Flat Pieces
Flat Cap:  Attach these on the tops of walls and ledges or place them in the approach path to stairs or ledges from which skaters are leaping.  Strategically installed in the path of skate traffic, they effectively act as speed bumps.   Oval shape provides great flexibility in the layout of a specific pattern.  Click here to view an installation with flat pieces.
